His Excellency Mohamed Hassan Alsuwaidi is the UAE Minister of Investment and serves as the Managing Director and Group Chief Executive Officer at ADQ.
His Excellency holds the position of Chairman of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA) and AD Ports Group. He is also the Deputy Chairman of Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar) and Second Vice Chairman of Aldar Properties.
In addition, His Excellency serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Emirates Investment Authority, Abu Dhabi Pension Fund, Advanced Technology Research Council, ADNOC Distribution, ADNOC Gas, Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation, and Al Dahra Holding.
Prior to joining ADQ, His Excellency garnered extensive experience across multiple sectors in his tenure with Mubadala Investment Company, where he held several investment management positions covering sectors such as metals and mining, real estate, hospitality, infrastructure, technology, and agriculture.
His Excellency has experience in banking and finance from his tenures with Union National Bank, Abu Dhabi Ship Building and the General Secretariat of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
His Excellency holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from United Arab Emirates University.

Hamad Al Hammadi
Hamad Al Hammadi
Hamad Al Hammadi is Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of ADQ. Hamad is responsible for the growth and development of companies within the Energy & Utilities, Healthcare & Life Sciences and Sustainable Manufacturing clusters. He ensures these entities align with ADQ's mandate of unlocking value and generating sustainable financial returns for Abu Dhabi.
He is Chairman of EMSTEEL, Emirates Water and Electricity Company (EWEC) and PureHealth, in addition to serving as a board member of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), TA’ZIZ and Modon Holding.
Prior to his current role, Hamad was Chief Executive Officer of Energy & Utilities and Sustainable Manufacturing at ADQ. Previously, he was Head of Greenfield Investments in the utilities vertical at Mubadala Investment Company, where he successfully spearheaded high-profile projects across the utilities, industry and financial services sectors.

Mansour AlMulla
Mansour AlMulla is Deputy Group Chief Executive Officer of ADQ. In his role, Mansour oversees the Food & Agriculture, Transport & Logistics, Financial Services and Real Estate Investments clusters. He is responsible for the growth and development of all portfolio companies within his purview and ensures the fulfilment of ADQ’s mandate, focusing on unlocking value and generating sustainable financial returns for Abu Dhabi.
Mansour is Vice Chairman of EAG, in addition to serving as a board member of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), Abu Dhabi Ports Group, Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), Etihad Aviation Group and Abu Dhabi Aviation.
With over 20 years of experience, Mansour brings expertise in a variety of domains, including structured finance, capital markets, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and financial planning, risk management, restructuring, business development and operations.
His professional career includes successful tenures in several leadership positions at leading corporations. Most recently, he served as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of EDGE Group. Previously, he was Group Chief Investment Officer at ADQ and served as the Chief Financial Officer of the Petroleum and Petrochemicals Platform at Mubadala.
Mansour holds a bachelor’s degree from Portland State University in Oregon in the United States of America.
Bashar AlRosan
Bashar AlRosan
Bashar AlRousan is Group Chief Legal and Compliance Officer at ADQ and Secretary to the Board of Directors and its Executive Committee.
As one of the earliest employees of the company, Bashar was instrumental in establishing a specialized in-house legal team, providing strategic, robust and pragmatic advice to safeguard ADQ’s interests and those of its portfolio companies. He ensures the highest standards of legal compliance within and across the holding group.
Before joining ADQ, Bashar served as General Counsel of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, where he led the Legal and Government Affairs Department. He also held the position of Director at the Legal and Risk Management Affairs Unit within the Executive Affairs Authority of Abu Dhabi. Prior to his roles in the government, Bashar worked as a corporate and commercial lawyer at Shell EP International and at globally recognized law firms, including Allen & Overy LLP and Simmons & Simmons.
Bashar holds a bachelor’s degree in law from Jordan and is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
Anas Jawdat Albarguthi
Anas Jawdat Albarguthi is Group Chief Operating Officer at ADQ. He oversees the organization’s information and cybersecurity, human capital, business technology services, corporate services, operational excellence, procurement, shared services, administration and facilities and internal corporate communications. Additionally, he is responsible for culture and engagement, as well as corporate social responsibility, sponsorships and events at ADQ.
He is Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Shipbuilding and sits on the Board of Trustees of Khalifa University.
Prior to joining ADQ, Anas held several senior positions, including Assistant Secretary-General and Executive Director at Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council, Executive Director at the Emirates Meteorology Institute and Senior Investment Manager at Mubadala’s aerospace division.
He has over 20 years of leadership experience in government, semi-government and private sectors in both the UAE and the United Kingdom. Throughout his career, Anas has worked in corporate governance, legal and management advisory, portfolio management, organizational transformation and process innovation.
Anas holds a master’s degree in international and comparative business law from the London Guildhall University in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Jaap Kalkman
Dr. Jaap Kalkman is Group Chief Investment Officer at ADQ. He is responsible for identifying compelling investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring efforts, across the Energy & Utilities, Sustainable Manufacturing, and Healthcare & Life Sciences clusters. He develops and implements unique investment strategies that foster the growth of thriving clusters with an expanding global presence, generating returns for ADQ and contributing to strengthening the Emirate’s economic resilience in alignment with government priorities.
He is a Chairman of Arcera, Vice Chairman of E7 Group and serves as a board member of Etihad Aviation Group. Before assuming his current role, Dr. Jaap held the position of Chief Transformation Officer at ADQ, overseeing new ventures, digital transformation and portfolio optimization.
With over 25 years of experience in management consulting and private equity, he has served as Managing Partner and Global Head of Energy and Utilities at Arthur D. Little. Additionally, he was Partner for the Middle East, Turkey and Africa at Roland Berger. His extensive professional journey includes roles as Director and Head of Infrastructure Investments in Bahrain and Singapore at Arcapita, as well as Managing Partner at McKinsey & Company in the Philippines and Bahrain.
Dr. Jaap holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands, where he also attained degrees in general philosophy, physics and mathematics.

Gil Adotevi is the Group Chief Investment Officer at ADQ. He is responsible for identifying compelling investment opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructuring efforts, across Food & Agriculture, Transport & Logistics, Financial Services and Tourism, Entertainment & Real Estate. He develops and implements unique investment strategies that foster the growth of thriving sectoral clusters with an expanding global presence, generating returns for ADQ and contributing to strengthening the Emirate’s economic resilience in alignment with government priorities.
He serves as Chairman of Unifrutti Group and is a board member of Agthia Group, Louis Dreyfus Company , Al Dahra Holding and Lulu Group International.
Before assuming his current role, Gil held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Food & Agriculture at ADQ. Previously, Gil was Senior Vice President at Mubadala Investment Company, where he was responsible for the company’s investments in Food and Agribusiness, Metals, Mining, and Utilities units. Earlier in his career, Gil held various roles in investment banking and investment management at RBC Capital Markets and State Street in Canada.
Gil holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from McGill University in Canada and is a graduate of the London Business School’s master’s program.

Louay Abou Chanab is Group Chief Strategy Officer at ADQ. He oversees ADQ’s mergers and acquisition activities, corporate strategy, portfolio transformation and ESG agenda. As one of ADQ's earliest employees, Louay has led the development of the organization's strategic approach, corporate performance management and asset allocation. He has driven multiple transformation and value creation initiatives, focusing on digital transformation, innovation, research and development and portfolio talent.
With over 25 years of experience, Louay has held prominent positions in both the public and private sectors, leading work across Southeast Asia, the Middle East and North Africa.
Louay holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the Lebanese American University and MBA degrees from Ecole Supérieure des Affaires in Lebanon and ESCP-EAP in France.
Marcos de Quadros
Marcos de Quadros
Marcos de Quadros is Group Chief Financial Officer at ADQ, where he leads the Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Treasury and Tax functions.
He also manages the company’s liquidity and capital structure, monitors and reports the company’s financial performance and plays a key role in managing investor relationships for the company.
Marcos is a board member of AD Airports, Louis Dreyfus Company and Al Dahra Holding.
Previously, Marcos served as Group Chief Financial Officer for AW Rostamani Group and as Chief Financial Officer for Al Futtaim GE Finance in the UAE.
His earlier career included serving as Chief Financial Officer of GE Capital Bank in Brazil. He has extensive experience in managing start-ups, turnarounds, cost reduction initiatives, acquisitions and divestitures. Additionally, Marcos has experience in Operations, Investments and IT.
Marcos holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mackenzie University and another in civil engineering from Sao Paulo State University.
