ADQ ("القابضة" in Arabic) is one of the region's largest holding companies with a broad portfolio of major enterprises spanning key sectors of Abu Dhabi's diversified economy. How is ADQ structured?
ADQ is an independently governed holding company for a portfolio of major commercial enterprises. It was established in 2018 and is a trusted partner of the Government of Abu Dhabi. The primary role of ADQ’s Board of Directors is to provide strategic direction and oversight for the organisation. The Board also monitors and ensures the protection of ADQ's assets and investments and the optimal management of risk.
